Principal Meg Dunneback kicked off the new year with a mindset of not just setting goals, but accomplishing them. Within the first weeks of 2022, Principal Dunneback created an all-new podcast to share stories about the life inside Marist High School. In each episode, she will interview a guest to highlight our mission and ministry, teaching and learning, or athletics and clubs. “Inside Marist” offers listeners the chance to find out more about our dynamic school and the people who make this great place come alive each and every day.
“Why a podcast?”
If you’re wondering, why a podcast, we’re happy to let you know there are so many great reasons for launching a show about Marist High School. Below we share five great reasons why a podcast will help Marist. We offer many thanks to Principal Dunneback for her energy and enthusiasm to get this all started.
#1 – Strengthening Relationships
This podcast, “Inside Marist,” will be done through interviews and conversations. Hearing the voices of our school’s administration, faculty, staff, students, coaches, alumni, donors, board, community members and more will help to amplify our message of faith, family and future. Through these conversations, new connections will be made; and we will bring greater awareness to the incredible opportunities students have to learn and grow on our campus.
#2 – Bringing Fresh Perspectives
What we are most excited about are the guests Meg will interview. In each episode, we will learn from them as they bring fresh and different perspectives. With each new guest, new stories will be shared that ultimately help shed light on both the breadth of experience and depth of knowledge our community offers as a resource for our students.
#3 – Growing Our Mission
The mission to make Jesus Christ known and loved in the Marist Brothers’ tradition, while preparing students for higher education and life ignites us, and we want to share it. We know our community is committed to our success, and so sharing our stories will further harness the energy and commitment of others who will share the same mission and want to contribute their own leadership to help our students and school.
#4 – Focusing on Specific Topics and Going Deep
Each conversation is unique because every guest offers their own perspective. There is the opportunity to focus on a particular topic and go deep. Hearing the stories of the individuals who have impacted this school brings with it valuable insights.
#5 – Beginning an Exciting Adventure
We are excited about the possibilities of growing our community. This podcast offers an opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones. We look forward to the synergies that will come as Meg goes forth on this new endeavor. We hope you will enjoy listening to “Inside Marist.”
