As you know, Marist High School offers test preparation classes on campus for all standardized tests, along with a strong curriculum that readies students for exam content.
The top quartile of Marist’s Class of 2021 average ACT score is 28.58. Marist has had nine students earn a 36 on the ACT since 2004; seven of them since 2016.
Last year, Kelly Hughes, a current senior at Marist, scored a perfect 36 on the ACT. She also is currently a semi-finalist for the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Also, congratulations goes to seniors, Mark J. Viz and Brae U. Sanchez on being named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students place among the top 50,000 students who enter the competition. Approximately, 1.5 million high school students enter the program each year.
