The Illinois High School Association announced January 19 that an impressive 9 Marist athletic teams had qualified for the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award for the fall 2022 semester.
This award is intended to reward teamwork not only in competition, but in the classroom as well. Those teams that maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher throughout their respective season qualify for the Team Academic Achievement Award. Below is the list of teams.
Boys Soccer 2022-23 3.52 total cumulative team grade point average
Boys Football 2022-23 3.29 total cumulative team grade point average
Boys Cross Country 2022-23 3.59 total cumulative team grade point average
Girls Volleyball 2022-23 3.83 total cumulative team grade point average
Boys Golf 2022-23 3.71 total cumulative team grade point average
Girls Golf 2022-23 3.86 total cumulative team grade point average
Girls Tennis 2022-23 3.7 total cumulative team grade point average
Girls Cross Country 2022-23 3.76 total cumulative team grade point average
