Twelve Marist High School seniors participated in a National Letter of Intent signing ceremony on Wednesday, November 10 in the school’s RedHawk Theater. The event confirmed their plans to continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level.
The volleyball program had two student-athletes participate. Mary Clare Brusek will attend and play for Western Michigan University. Kennedy Conrad will attend and play at the University of New Haven.
Baseball players Colin Amsden and George Bilecki will attend Lewis University. Cliff Mayer will play for and attend Dominican University, and Nate Voss will head to the University of Michigan.
Five softball team members also signed. Gianna Richy will attend and play for the University of Illinois Chicago. Emily Bojan will play at the University of Wisconsin. Kylie Sinal committed to attend and play at Grand Valley State University. Kaitlyn Wright will play at Saint Xavier University. Last, Sierra Sass will head to Loyola University Chicago. All of these girls were instrumental in Marist’s 2021 state championship.
After an incredible 4th place finish at state, Jake Phillips from the boys’ cross country team will attend and run at Loyola University Chicago.
More commitments are expected as the school year continues. Marist is a member of the competitive East Suburban Catholic Conference, and its athletes and teams regularly garner success at the local and state levels. Congratulations to our student athletes today.
