Logan Stafford will be attending Anderson University this fall in Anderson, IN. Anderson is a Division III lacrosse program that plays in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Logan has been a part of the boys lacrosse program all four years while at Marist. In his time at Marist, Logan has seen his fair share of successes as both a player and teammate. Logan is an excellent communicator on the field, and a bright spot when it comes to keeping the locker room lighthearted. Congratulations Logan and good luck next year at Anderson University
Football
Luke Cosme – Carthage College
- Luke is a versatile player who played guard as a junior before settling in to play tackle as a senior
- Luke attacked the offseason before his senior season to get as strong as possible. He was a staple at the early morning workouts
- Luke gave maximum effort in practice every day whether it was with the first team offense or the scout team
- He understood what it meant to be a great teammate and did everything possible to help himself and his teammates be successful in games
- Luke’s size and athleticism will be a welcome addition to the offensive line at the next level
- Luke will continue his playing career in the fall at Carthage College
Marc Coy – University of St. Thomas
- Marc is an incredibly versatile player who has played defensive end, running back, and H-back during his time as a Marist football player
- Over the past two seasons, Marc rushed for over 800 yards and scored 13 touchdowns
- Going into his senior season, Marc earned the distinction of being voted as a team captain by his teammates
- Marc is an incredibly intelligent football player who was asked to learn more of the playbook than any other player on the team. Marc had to know every run scheme as both a ball carrier and a blocker. He had to know every pass protection as a running back, and he had to know how to run routes out of the backfield
- Marc’s ability to carry the ball, block for his teammates, and catch the ball out of the backfield made him an integral part of the offense this past season
- It was this type of dedication to the football program and his willingness to be the ultimate teammate that won Marc the Jack Callahan award this past season. The Jack Callahan Award is presented to the player who best embodies what it means to be a superior teammate and possesses outstanding character on and off the field
- Marc will continue his playing career in the fall at the University of St. Thomas
Cooper Cozen – Olivet Nazarene University
- Over the past two seasons, Cooper caught 8 passes for 47 yards
- Cooper’s impact on the program over the past two seasons goes well beyond the box score
- Cooper was part of a rotation this year at the WR position, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have a huge impact on the success of the team. Cooper pushed the players at his position to improve through his hard work and effort each and every practice. His work on the scout team made our starting defensive backfield better each week throughout the season.
- That kind of effort and impact doesn’t show up in the box score and won’t necessarily get your name in the newspaper. However, teams that don’t have players like Cooper will never be as successful as the teams that do.
- Cooper’s positive attitude and outgoing personality made him easily approachable to his teammates and helped create a loose and fun atmosphere in the locker room.
- Cooper will continue his football career in the fall at Olivet Nazarene University
Chase Lanning – Henderson State University
- Chase played center for us over the past two seasons and each year gave the defense a great look on the scout team offense
- He embraced his role and did everything in his power to prepare the starting defense each week while working hard to improve his own skills each day in practice
- Chase pushed himself in the offseason morning workouts, while also looking to hone his skills on weekends outside of the regularly scheduled workouts with his Marist teammates
- Chase is a great teammate and an extremely smart football player who would often help his younger teammates with their technique or blocking responsibilities
- Chase will continue his playing career in the fall at Henderson State University
- Henderson State will be getting a smart, hardworking player who will work every day to be the best player and teammate he can possibly be
Davon Watson – University of Indianapolis
- Davon made tremendous progress during his time in the Marist football program
- He worked extremely hard last offseason to get himself into the best shape possible before the start of his senior season
- Davon played nose tackle along our defensive line, which is not the most glamorous position
- He was asked to clog the middle of the line and take on double teams so the players behind him could make plays
- Davon was a monster in the middle of the defensive line and played a huge role in the team’s run defense, which allowed less that 95 yards per game
- Davon finished this past season with 24 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery
- Davon will continue his playing career in the fall at the University of Indianapolis
Duke White – Ohio Dominican University
- Duke is a 2 year starter at middle linebacker for the RedHawk varsity football team
- As a junior, Duke totaled 83 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 interception
- Going into his senior season, Duke’s hard work and natural leadership skills led to him being voted as a team captain by his teammates
- During his senior season, Duke amassed 94 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, forced 3 fumbles, recovered 1 fumble, broke up 2 passes, and returned 1 interception 25 yards for a touchdown
- Duke finishes his Marist career with a total of 177 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions, and 1 defensive touchdown
- Duke’s accomplishments on the field during his junior and senior seasons led to him being recognized as a 2-time All-Conference selection in the ESCC/CCL conference
- After this past season, Duke was named Honorable Mention All-Area by the Chicago Tribune/Daily Southtown
- In addition to his stellar play on the field, Duke’s friendly and outgoing personality made him a magnet for his teammates to gather around in the locker room

This spring Harry will get his shot to be both a high leverage pitcher and also should be a starter at multiple positions in the field.
One of the best teammates and players to coach, Harry plans on majoring in Criminal Justice at Loras College which is located in Dubuque, Iowa. Loras finished 29-17 and is a top Division 3 school nationally. Congratulations to Harry Young on your commitment to play baseball at Loras College.
