Marist is excited to use iPads as a tool in the school’s innovative curriculum. The iPad gives the opportunity to combine education with technology and creativity. The possibilities that apps and e-books offer students and teachers alike are countless. This plan does not change Marist’s long-running commitment to challenging academics in the least. The iPad is a tool, not a replacement for high quality content and skilled teaching. It will help Marist students gain proficiency in 21^st century learning skills that include problem solving, communication and collaboration, critical thinking, digital literacy, creativity, and innovation.  All of these skills are necessary for college and or workplace applications.
