The Vital Role of the Student Council
Student Council is one of the premier organizations at Marist High School. The council consists of young men and women who seek to further the mission of Marist High School through service to the student body and outlying community. The council is the only organization elected entirely by the student body, as such; the council plays an essential role in providing the student body with a communicative link between students, faculty, and administration. As a group completely devoted to the school’s mission of educating both the heart and mind of all students, the Student Council strives to promote student involvement, school pride, and deeper growth in the tradition of Marist High School.
During the year, student council plans a variety of events including homecoming week, dances, dress down days, pre-game tailgates, fan buses, field trips, and more.
