All Catholic High Schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago give the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on Saturday, December 7th. Registration for the HSPT opens on November 11th. There is a $25.00 exam fee that can be paid when registering online. 

Please note that students may only take the HSPT at one Catholic high school. Students should bring several No. 2 pencils with them. The HSPT is designed to be taken without the use of a calculator. Students should not bring a calculator on the day of the test.

Marist High School can provide extended time on the entrance exam to students who provide documentation as well as the Request for Accommodation Form. Documentation, as well as the Request for Accommodation Form should be included in the email when looking to register for the test.  All Incoming Class of 2029 students’ documentation must be submitted to Mrs. Margie Sweeney for consideration of extended time on the Entrance Exam (HSPT), no later than Friday, November 22, 2024.
