Living the Legacy of MLK at School
Today and each day, we honor the legacy of Dr. King by striving for diversity, equity, and inclusion at Marist High School.
Rooted in our Catholic faith, we have offered young men and women the opportunity to grow spiritually and live out the mission of the school by serving others for more than 55 years. Furthermore, a commitment to service has always been a guiding principle, as we believe that the way to prepare students for a life of service in a vibrantly diverse world is to actively value diversity within our own halls and to foster an environment of understanding, inclusion, self-reflection and continuous improvement.
At Marist High School, our top priority is creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students of all backgrounds. Last July, Marist hired a Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.
